Award winning artist Margaret Duvall Schrimpf is a native of the Greater Cincinnati area. She earned both a Master and Bachelor of Fine Art Degrees at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Her professional career consists of greeting card designer at the Gibson Card Company, designer for a international graphic design firm, and art instructor for various local schools.

Presently she works full-time in oil and pastel producing lively landscape, still-life and abstract paintings. When not painting, she gives tours at the Cincinnati Art Museum and works in various outreach art programs for the community.
